UNLV SON doesn't review extracurriculars as part of their application process There is no interview or essay component, just calculate your points based on your pre req grades and HESI score Also rebel recognition of you completed 60+ pre req credits at UNLV (which can be a tiebreaker for someone who is applying with the same points as you

I’m on my 3rd degree at UNLV It’s not a bad choice and when I was younger I had a lot of fun going to events I haven’t checked recently but during my first degree (graduated Dec 2015) there was a nap room in the SU It was a big room with blackout curtains and a bunch of couches

If you go to UNLV, the nursing admissions give you some extra points, but you can still get into the UNLV nursing program coming from other colleges UNR and CSN, for example, also has these classes CSN might be arguably better because the professors at CSN are all focused on teaching They are there to teach, not to do research

Especially since UNLV's math dept is filled to the brim with terrible teachers, rmp will be a godsend Try making good connections with other students, It really helped me out that i had a clique from highschool to be with and either a)work together with or b) goof around to make the experience better
