- Macro to export probe frequency data from linear d
Repeat for Y and Z displacement axes Is there a way to programmatically: Change a displacement plot's displacement component (X, Y, Z URES)? Get and save sensor frequency probe data externally? The initial goal would be to manually perform steps 1-3 a single time, then run this macro to save off the data for all 3 displacement components
- What the numbers mean | SOLIDWORKS Forums
The color scale on the side has a min value and max value and is labled URES (mm) (what's URES?) The Values in the color scale range from 1 000e-030 - 1 648e+002 Is that 1 000000, and 001648? How are these numbers interpreted, and what is the purpose of the deformation scale number? Thanks for the help
- URES Displacement | SOLIDWORKS Forums
Hi all, I am new to SolidWorks and have been designing some parts to be milled I am using SimulationXpress to analyze whether a part I am designing can handle a load I am trying to figure out if the below part can hold 150lbs in the downward direction on the front face The analysis produced the following results I am not a qualified engineer and, as such, trying to understand the results
- how to read ures scale in simx | SOLIDWORKS Forums
in show displacement, the scale is called ures, the graph is from 1 00E-030 TO 2 214E+0002 WHAT IS THIS TELLING ME? i asume the E means exponent thats all i know about this part of the results
- URES result in Simulation | SOLIDWORKS Forums
General question here about URES result in a simple Static Analysis I'm not sure what the displacement results are based upon Are the displacement results computed to some fraction of Yield Strength? For example, if I simply apply a force on the end of a simply supported beam, the resulting URES value is based upon what material condition? Sorry for the simple question, it just isn't obvious
- How is equivalent strain calculated in 2D? - SolidWorks
SolidWorks provides equations for calculating the equivalent strain (ESTRN) from strain components given in: 2017 SOLIDWORKS Help - Strain Components I am wondering how ESTRN is calculated in 2D (i e using only EPSX, EPSY and GMXY) - if it is possible?
- structural member simulation. . . displacement value - SolidWorks
So Iv built a selection of tubes (structural weldments) into a front crash structure for a racing car, using no weld gaps and all as one part
- Simulation Express Units Frustrations | SOLIDWORKS Forums
The Ures scale gives me a max displacement of 5 506e+001 which tells me it has a displacement of 55 06" - this is preposterous There is no way that I have that much deflection displacement
