Wilfred Fortier was born July 20, 1935 in Danbury CT He passed away January 2, 2020 in Longview, Texas Mr Fortier joined the United States Navy August 18, 1955 He served 12 years in the United States Navy and reached the Rank of E-7 His MOS was SK-0000, he served in Vietnam on the USS Talladega and received an honorable discharge August 21, 1967 He was awarded the National Defense Medal

Navy Patternmaker 1st Class Stanislaw F Drwall, 25, of Thomas, West Virginia, killed during World War II, was accounted for on March 25, 2021 On Dec 7, 1941, Drwall was assigned to the battleship USS Oklahoma, which was moored at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, when the ship was attacked by Japanese aircraft Drwall was six months away from leaving the Navy The USS Oklahoma sustained multiple
