So I am thinking of where I should go for medical school I am currently in the army and asked my provider for some advice and he told me not to go to uniformed services university and told me to check this forum What are the pros and cons of attending this school and would it be better for me

The UHS deadline is usually Feb 1, if you are going the DO route Keep in mind that DO schools really do look past the numbers and you will need to have some EC's to go with your app Many of the DO schools want to see some volunteer work with the underserved, I don't know if that is the case with UHS, although our school does seem to have a

After being accepted at KCOM, I declined interviews at CCOM and UHS I'm really at a loss for words regarding PCOM Philly is a great city and all, but I don't understand why they would diss (no interview) someone like me from their own state The only thing I can think of is that I applied really late - sent in my secondary around the middle

And UHS paid the most in the region The other doc lasted 3 months before bailing saying it wasn't a safe place to work And this was a guy who would see 20 adults and 10 child patients per day on weekend cross cover at his previous hospital and he thought UHS was bad So, I can't imagine ever working at UHS personally
