Fingerhut account not showing balance? Last week I applied for a Fingerhut fresh start account and was approved for a limit of $230 I spent roughly $80 on my order For some reason it wouldn’t let me pay until a couple days later Was feeling a bit skeptical after that So I paid the $30 “down payment” on Monday or Tuesday

Not a guarantee, but it seems like 10 years for me I opened an account in the 90s, used it once, and immediately paid it off I thought I closed it, but when they changed lenders in 2003, they listed it as a new account with a 2003 open date and I didn't see it until years later

FingerHut closed my account, how sad So I get an alert today telling me that my Finger Hut account has been closed I am going to miss that $300 credit limit that I have never used I don't know how I am going to sleep at night now after this traumatic event It is by will alone I set my mind in motion

They confirmed someone with my name, ss, dob opened and applied for an account in my name and the app was pending Everything the same except the address, the city was the same though She was declined the app and put my name on their internal fraud list so anyone with my name would be auto declined in the future
