- The Dodge 47RH and 47RE heavy-duty automatic transmissions
The primary difference appears to have been the name, since Chrysler press materials noted that even the 47RE had hydraulic shift control (other than the overdrive, which was electronically activated in both automatics) The 47RH and 47RE were reserved for V10 and Cummins diesel engines Gear Ratios:
- Map sensor on 95 dodge ram 2500 with v 10 - Allpar Forums
Here is location of MAP sensor on the V10 engine See attached image However you are "firing the parts cannon" and replacing parts without any factual evidence the part replaced is affecting the air - fuel mixture You need to look at short term fuel trim values along with upstream oxygen sensor values
- V10 swap. . . | Allpar Forums
The V10 and Cummins were only available in the Ram 2500 3500 because their heavy-duty chassis dynamics were better suited to the higher torque output of these engines A 21-year old Ram 1500 chassis must be in fairly healthy condition to safely handle the V10 torque that it wasn't particularly designed for: (emphasis on 'safely')

- Hurrah! AutoWeek covering my Viper book! | Allpar Forums
A new book out next month will take a look back at the history of the Viper, now with the benefit of three decades of hindsight And with the Viper out of production for a few years now, perhaps it is time to take stock of just what it has achieved for Chrysler, Dodge, and SRT, but without the rose-tinted glasses Written by David Zatz, Dodge Viper will aim to provide an objective look at the
- 1994-2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck transmissions - Allpar Forums
The new V10 and Cummins turbodiesel upgrades required a stronger manual transmission The NV4500 HD was easier to shift than the prior diesel manual, while all ratios, forward and reverse, were synchronized (unlike some competitive transmissions) Dual-cone synchronizers reduced effort at the shift knob by 10-15%
