  • Thermostat Bypass Pipe - The V8 Owners Forum
On the early Land Rover 3 5 V8s (Strombergs) there is a bypass pipe hole in the bottom of the thermostat housing that has a s rubber pipe that connects to the back of the timing cover - it allows coolant to pass between the inlet manifold and water pump while the thermostat is still closed It allows the circulation of a small amount of coolant from the water pump into the engine and back

  • Fuel pump priming - The V8 Owners Forum

  • MGB V8 Conversion Cooling Pipework Layout - The V8 Owners Forum
Used a MGB V8 radiator, never had cooling issues I also ran a Kenlow fan No point 'blowing' or anything like that, has no effect, and do not fill from expansion tank! You don't seem to have a radiator cap pressure cap at all? You need a permanent breathing solution to remove air entrainment caused by cavitation that the water pump creates
  • Success with Speeduino - The V8 Owners Forum
I tried to keep it as tidy as I could, but it still looks like an octopus orgy with fuel, oil, and breather pipes
  • BritishV8 Forum: MGB v8 conversion
Restoring a converted mgb V8 Engine was an early 3 5 10 5 cr and LT77 I have purchased a 3 9 EFI engine which is from an auto engine I am hoping
