Your post has me now thinking more than ever that once my stash of Mobil 1 ESP 5W-30 is done that I will be thinking about using Valvoline Restore and Protect I am not using any oil with ESP 5W-30 versus the ESP 0W-30, and Mobil does claim that the ESP does do some cleaning

iirc Valvoline EP High Mileage is mostly GTL according to the sds sheet, you also see it in a lot of Mobil 1 oils None of them make it a marketing point like Pennzoil does

I considered Valvoline's CVT fluid but decided I didn't want to experiment with it at the point just to save a few bucks $80 for four quarts of Honda fluid is a bit steep I think the days of a high-quality universal fluid like MaxLife ATF for Dexron III applications are over For CVTs at least

That Valvoline looks really stout! I'd like the oxidation to be a little higher and the pour point to be a little lower, but otherwise it looks great I personally think the M1 EP HM is slightly better as a "high mileage" oil, in terms of it's seal conditioning and ability to slow seal leaks
