  • Vancouver, WA - Reddit
Posts should be related to issues of interest in and around Vancouver, WA Clark County at large as well as the rest of Southwest Washington are relevant but the greater the distance from Vancouver, WA the lower the relevance to this subreddit, and the higher likelihood that reported posts will be removed
  • Whats it like to live in Vancouver, WA? : r vancouverwa - Reddit
Vancouver isn’t what it used to be but still one of the greatest areas to live in my opinion I would just make sure you figure out which area is going to be a good fit for you Like a previous comment said, downtown had very good walkability but comes with higher crime rates, worse schools more congestion
  • Moving to Vancouver : r vancouverwa - Reddit
Downtown Vancouver is a nice place to spend an evening, and the waterfront even more so I have a co-working desk in downtown Vancouver that I walk to on the nice days, and I get to walk through the Fort Vancouver park, which is a beautiful place
  • What Should We Know Before We Move To Vancouver? - Reddit
The consensus is secure a place before you move up Vancouver has an amazing rich history and we were the most important city in the PNW at various points in history First European settlers, Fort Vancouver, base for WW2, etc but we fell off the map It's definitely fun to find those things and I've been making a few YouTube videos shorts
  • Vancouver or Portland? : r vancouverwa - Reddit
With this in mind, is the Vancouver, WA area any better? Is it generally safer there? I don’t mind taking public transit into Portland or driving ubering if public transit is scarce and inaccessible and I know taxes are lower in Washington Please feel free to suggest neighborhoods in both areas that check at least most of my boxes as well!
  • Vancouver Food Recommendations : r vancouverwa - Reddit
My family moved to Vancouver a few months ago and we are trying to build up our list of favorite spots to eat What are some places you recommend? Looking for all types of cuisine So far we have tried and loved: Thai Wok Kitchen, Cactus Ya Ya, Simply Sweets by Jen bakery, and Seize the Bagel Thank you!
  • Is it cheaper or more expensive to live in Vancouver, WA than . . . - Reddit
Generally speaking housing is definitely cheaper in Vancouver than in Portland though Maybe not if you are comparing brand new, spacious apartments and condominiums to older stock in Portland, and especially not if you are looking at places in East Portland or North Portland, but apples to apples you get more for you money in Vancouver
  • Where to move in the area? : r vancouverwa - Reddit
We’re moving due to my accepting a position in Vancouver, WA Having never been to Vancouver, but enjoying many of the Portland neighborhoods I’ve visited, where would you move to in our position? I understand it’s best to live in the state you work in due to the way taxes work in OR and WA
