Viofo A119 Mini 2 - Major upgrade over the A119 V3 above 1440p resolution but more compact discrete and has the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor, which is a big improvement for night time quality Includes some advanced features like HDR and 5ghz Wi-Fi for quick file transfers In my opinion, this is the best front only cam to get nowadays

The SanDisk High Endurance card will work fine in the A129 Plus DUO I use this card in my A129 Plus DUO and it’s works great The recommendation by Viofo is really geared more towards their newer cameras So the A119 Mini, T130, A139 Pro, A229…etc, should use only the cards on the Viofo recommended list

Viofo recommends Viofo Industrial microSD cards which are expensive but have 100MB s read 90MB s write which is good for 4K 30fps front 1440p 30fps back with a bitrate of 59000kbit s or SanDisk Max Endurance, which is less expensive with 100MB s read 40MB s write buuuuut I dont know if this is going to be a problem with a 2channel 4K

I am down to 2 models, both by Viofo There are Christmas Sales still going on for about 1 more day so I need to decide ASAP and order The A139 Pro has been out longer and looks impressive The A229 Pro is the new kid on the block and looks like some slight differences, possibly advantages to it ?! Any help advice is appreciated

At this point, I think Viofo has the edge for offering better hardware, and due to the sheer amount of customizing you need to do to a Thinkware camera to make it useable The out-of-the-box settings for event recording and voice prompts are not ideal on the Thinkware With the product in-hand, the Viofo doesn't feel any cheaper than my Thinkware
