I read all the comments, sad to see sone people are completely unaware the first Rocky is a drama first and foremost Oscar for best movie and best direction with a 1 million dollar budget, of course it’s the better movie

What I love about the first film, is that Rocky doesn't win the fight Throughout the film, Rocky is filled with self doubt and doesn't have the understanding of what it takes to win against such an illustrious opponent, even if Apollo is woefully under prepared The old Hollywood trope would have Rocky winning somehow
