- Volvo Cars - They are awesome and from Sweden - Reddit
Need help with an electrical issue in my 2015 Volvo XC60 Center screen shuts off, loss of turn signals, hazards, and entire dash lights up with warnings Can't lock the car or turn it off (push to start)
- r Volvo on Reddit: Why does the B5 hybrid engine have such poor MPG . . .
I'm a potential Volvo buyer, but am questioning the MPG of their new cars Based on these findings, it almost doesn't make sense to buy a new car vs a 2-year old used model in terms of overall fuel costs For simplicity sake, let's compare the S60 Gas (i e B5 hybrid) car with any other hybrid small midsized sedans: Volvo S60 B5: 25 33 MPG city hwy
- Volvo - reliability : r Volvo - Reddit
Looking at purchasing a Volvo XC40 because I love the size and look but I know the reliability rankings are always extremely low It seems like people either love their Volvo and won’t get another brand or never want to own another one again Is there legitimate concern for repairs issues with the brand in general?
- AC issues XC90 : r VolvoXC90 - Reddit
Recently went through this on a 2018 Was quoted $4,600 for the repair Contacted Volvo customer service and asked for goodwill It took them almost a month to grant it (with multiple follow ups in between) during which we had a heatwave Eventually they came back and offered me 3k towards the repair I personally know two others who had the same problem, so it’s clearly an issue
- Are new Volvos really unreliable? : r Volvo - Reddit
Volvo's are brilliant at reaching multiple hundreds of thousands of miles, they're reasonably reliable but also very durable, repairable and with good parts availability
- Volvo On Call battery replacement : r Volvo - Reddit
Has anyone had any luck replacing the On Call battery in their current model Volvo? I have a 2018 V90, and am getting the annoying “Volvo On Call Service Required” message on the dashboard I don’t think it’s a modem issue since my understanding is my model year has a 4G modem I’d like to replace the battery myself if possible
- XC60 Air Suspension Ride Comfort? : r Volvo - Reddit
The XC60 and 90 with air suspension are among the most unreliable cars in Europe now On par with Range Rover In the UK here, you'll genuinely struggle to offload an air ride 90 to a dealer as they have to warrant it for 6 months and they don't want to pick up the tab, kinda on par with Ford Powershift gearboxes and JLR and Merc Air suspensions Volvo are actually quite slow at improving
- What’s a great year for Used xc90s? : r VolvoXC90 - Reddit
According to the Volvo technicians at my dealership, the best model years are 2019-2021 I also purchased a used 2020 T5 that came off of a lease and absolutely love it
