Volvo's had some lemon issues with the electrical systems in their SPA cars From what I've gathered that's where the poor rating comes from The 2024 models also introduced a new infotainment and new computer so they've had some issues with that The mechanicals are fairly bomb proof so you won't really have to worry about that

Volvo had been doing turbos for almost 4 decades by the time the P1 platform came around around and they’re one of the best at making a reliable one My XC70 is currently sitting at 255k miles on the original turbo!
