I am a tech foreman at a Volvo dealer (in Canada even) Honestly, if you're going new newer, look for the long range battery version They have been great Even the older gen T8 wasn't too bad (common failure on really early would be the erad transmission (electric motor transmission), some on board chargers and we've changed a couple cells over the years The new ones we have rarely been into
