This is on my own house, I've done similar lighting installations over the years for my customers, but don't remember the transformer getting as hot as it does I already have 2 88 watt transformers, and they are barely warm This new one is a 200 watt, and I have 168 watts of lights installed

Classic Lighting is right on To clarify, the goal for halogen incandescent is to get 10 5-12 volts at the fixture As your cable run gets longer and or you add more fixtures (load) onto the cable, the voltage drops So if you start at 12 volts and have a long wire run, the voltage might only be say 9 volts at the end of the run

I have tried to order a new analog timer but it seems the whole country is out of stock How do I get a new timer (T-SS-AT) or bypass the timer in the power center? The lighting will not work with or without the old timer installed Seems the switch inside the timer is bad Ideas?
