The WCAX tower went up in 1954; ETV in 1967; and WVNY in 1968 The plan calls for three new narrow towers about 165 feet high that would be clustered and visually aligned The old towers would remain until December 2006 or until 85 percent of Vermont households have digital television sets, whichever is later, then they would be removed

WPTZ is the NBC afflilate out of Plattsburgh NY WCAX is the CBS (Channel 3) affiliate They've had those call letters as long as I can remember (going back to the early eighties and prior) The only station in the Vermont market that changed it's call letters was the ABC affiliate which changed from WEZF to WVNY

The channels I get OTA are WCAX 3 1-3 5 WPTZ 5 1 5 2 NH PBS 11 1-11 5 NH Ion 21 1-21 6 YCN Claremont 26 1-26 3 VT PBS 28 1-28 4 WNNE 31 1 VT PBS 33 1 WFFF 44 1-44 4 Church Channel 48 1 Any reason why I pick up some Burlington stations and not others from the same mountain Now that I can pick up fox I would really like to pick up channel 22 ABC
