Presto, WHS 2011 continues to install on my SSD and completes successfully Using a cfg ini answer file does indeed work for getting the WHS 2011 to ignore its default sys req's No need to use any imaging software to clone another drive and copy it to an SSD Just create a cfg ini answer file and install directly onto the SSD 1 beer for me!

I purchased an external USB drive to backup the shares on my Aspire WHS I added the new drive as a backup drivem and succesfully backed up the WHS shares After the backup, I removed the drive from the backup pool, and physically removed the drive with no problems

Removed the xxxxxx homeserver com under remote access at WHS console, and imediately replaced it everything started working again 100% even got my iphone HP mediasmart client working

I had read the different threads here about defragmentation and that you shouldn't use the built in defrag tool with WHS, but that you should use a 3rd party tool instead So I tried Raxco PerfectDisk 8, which supports WHS (supposedly)

The WHS DVD is the Win2k3 disk If you click on OK you should get a new dialogue box indicating what file it is looking for and the option to browse to find it Navigate to the dvd drive \i386 folder
