The other thing to look at , is the transom, to make sure it is still solid Most Wahoos didnt have a problem there, but unfortunately I have seen a couple You will be able to tell, by looking at the seam on the top of the transom and looking for any weeping out of the lifting eyes As I said though, it wasnt a typical Wahoo issue

Wahoo was a great boat, I've owned both Wahoo and Whaler I had a 1994 1650 DC with a Yamaha 70 on it that ran forever and still does The ride and quality are just as good as similar size whalers I currently own a Montauk 170 and I'm very happy with it as well I know some of the Whaler purist look down at Wahoos but the 21CC and smaller were great boats
