Hi, Some people say that ASIO gives the best sound, some WASAPI, some say Direct Sound is as good as it can get What's the truth? I'm on Windows 10 and can't hear any difference, if I use my Topping D10 with Direct Sound or with its ASIO driver Are there any measurements out there? Cheers

Wasapi shared mode goes through windows audio mixer which may not only resample (most likely inaudible), but also perform some DSP, depending on your configuration E g some equalizer may be in your chain ASIO or Wasapi exclusive passes the samples directly to the driver, no resampling DSP IMO that's the difference you hear
