I recommended Weawow in another reply, but Breezy is my other favorite (its abandonware predecessor, Geometric Weather, was my go-to until some Weawow made some changes I wanted) It has the best UI — except for the barely-visible way it represents chance of precipitation, which is a data point that needs to really stand out

Weawow is also donationware freemium (a couple sources are available only if you've donated because they're more expensive for the developer) Breezy is a really good fork of my former daily-driver (Geometric Weather, abandonware)

If you live somewhere that the weather is fairly uniform across a wide area, there are quite a few good apps — although in my experience Weawow is the best Best UI, best at-a-glance presentation of data, many sources to choose from (including Apple DarkSky), best notification widgets

TL;DR: Weawow but check the provider that works best for your region It isn't about the app itself, but its provider (s) You can try multiple apps, but if they all have the same provider, you'll get the exact same forecast Said that, you can try apps like Today Weather or, even better, Weawow, which give you the choice of multiple providers
