- Webasto exhaust smoke - TruckersReport
Make sure you turn your Webasto off a few minutes before starting the truck It has a shutdown cycle that is used to burn out all the remaining fuel in the combustion chamber If you just start the engine and roll, this doesn't happen, leading to the unburnt fuel building up in it and turning to goo
- Webasto Safety Concerns - TruckersReport
With winter coming on, my thoughts turned to some of the cold weather issues The truck I drive has one of those Webasto bunk heaters that seems to be fired by the diesel fuel I have fired it up and it works well as far as heating things My question is, are these things "bullet-proof" safe or is it necessary to keep a close eye on them?

In the 4 trucks I have had, I have never had a satisfactorily working Webasto In my current truck, it really didn't do anything but give me a blinking light Put it in the shop, and now it only blows ambient temp air Next home time the truck will be going back in the shop, hopefully to fix that (as well as other gremlin related ails)
- Volvo Webasto Bunk Heater fuse location? - TruckersReport
I'm trying to troubleshoot my Webasto bunk heater on my 2016 Volvo VNL 780, But I cannot figure out where the bloody fuse is for it I'm not getting a ticking from the pump nor is the fan kicking on, so I want to check that fuse, but it isn't listed on either internal fuse panel
- webasto bunk heater problem - TruckersReport
I have a webasto airtop heater for the bunk The problem seems random One night it will work great Then the next night I will turn it on with the dial in the bunk and the green light comes on It will lightly blow ambient air but that's it It doesn't click doesn't blow any harder no fault codes Nothing Just a green light and light
- Diesel bunk heaters - TruckersReport
The next was a Webasto It didn't put out the heat like the Espar but the guys in the shop said it was alot cheaper to fix maintain than Espar Had alot of trouble with Webasto sensors getting plugged up with dust so it would think it was overheating and start blowing cold air Would be a good unit if the intake air was filtered a bit better
