- Celestion Gold v. Weber 12F150T - The Gear Page
The Weber is ceramic and will give you that classic American Jensen tone - a little scoop in the mids and that classic Fendery high end sparkle Great speaker and holds up well at higher volumes The Gold gives you a taste of that British alnico chime, but still has does justice to that Fender tone
- Eminence Legend 1518 vs. Weber 15F150 for Tweed Pro
It's not an overbuilt, heavy speaker Relatively light Powerful, as in loud, yes But it cedes nothing tonally to get there Has a light, even touch Whereas the alnico Weber seemed to murk up with the hot sort of gain, fat tones you can pull out of the 35115, the 151 rolled with those sound, transmitted that hot edge perfectly No mushing out
