For my groupme, I try and "steer" the group to a good balance of academic discussion, general course news and information, test discussion, and memes I really like the group, and I moderate it to ban spammers and other assholes, but groupme is a horrible platform for a 590 person group

I got a message claiming to be from GroupMe support saying I won a free iPad I clicked on the link and it said it was verifying my IP address and had me fill out a 3 question survey It then took me to a page to fill out my personal information like name address and credit card info
