I was looking around at Hazard Fraught yesterday, and I discovered that they carry a “new” knife a Gordon 6” Bowie Knife, for around 25$ (US) From what I could see through the packing, it looks to be a decent knife for the money, with an included leather sheath Anyone bought one yet ?

Fyi if you keep an eye out online you can find good 100% wool military surplus blankets come up from time to time for 2-2 5 times the cost of that $12 Harbor Freight blanket Makes more sense to buy one good blanket relatively cheap than buy several "disposable" blankets over time

Harbor freight has a 200 foot roll with no tube most of the time for about a buck fifty or so I go with that because it saves me the trouble of losing the tube for packing I can get a fair amount of hemp twine here cheaply in CO if I call around, I've found it does burn longer than jute, but I'd say only a little longer than sisal
