But my Nespresso coffee machine draws 1710 watts at 240 volt, which comes to 7 amps What we need to remember the inverter needs to setup up 12 volt to 240 volts and as a result that 7 amps to run the coffee machine at 240 volt becomes a massive 63 amps at 12 volt

A 1200w coffee machine needs at least 120 Amps of 12 volt power to get started Hi Boots, thanks for the reply Yes understand everything you said But when the new Nespresso didn't work I again grabbed my larger one from in the house and plugged it into the Inverter and it worked no problem at all

Once received I wish to install a 3000w inverter suitable to operate a Nespresso coffee machine I wish to integrate the system with the mains 240v with auto changeover and have charging from the Ranger alternator whilst in transit

Not sure but I assume the 3000W would be the peak output @willobee, which would mean a 1500W continuous output We are also looking at getting one and fitting to the van, currently looking at the Projecta IP1000 which is the 1000 continuous and 2000 Peak output model Only reason we are looking at getting this one is so when we need to we can run the Nespresso machine of this which usually has

The Nespresso machine is a permanent fixture in the van The 220W folding solar panel that I bought for the panda was way to big to be comfortably portable so I decontructed it and the resulting two 110W panels have joined the 150W that came with the van on the roof

Tested it on the nespresso machine and milk frother and ran both without raising a sweat It’s wired to a GPO under the table I used a CMS gpo so I could piggy back off it and put another point in kitchen and bathroom when I could be arsed View attachment 63038 Did you strip off the inverter end of the cms loom for a plug?

At home we have a nice Breville dual boiler coffee machine which makes great coffee, but in the van we have always used the Bialetti and it makes very good coffee, better than most coffee shops (if you use quality freshly ground coffee)
