Since Windows 11 (or maybe earlier) Windows Notepad internally stores unsaved files so if the application (or Windows) crashes they will be still there later For example, Notepad++ stores those temp files in: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\backup I've searched here (and searching online about this pointed me here too) :

It's very uncommon and that might explain why you never read about it in relation to the temporary profile issue In my case the Logon Script was listed in the Profile path, meaning on Login the PC was trying to find an entry, that didn't exist Thereby creating a temp profile since it couldn't resolve the issue

I think we ended up overriding settings via hidden ASHRE settings for the iLO I don't know if iDRAC has something similar to tweak or if the inlet temp sensor on the right console panel board is getting heat conducting from the rails I'm probably going to try experimenting with an independent temp sensor to get a control value
