From memory (and I could be wrong) but when I was a kid buying a magazine, the cost was in Canadian and US It seems the Canadian dollar sign had one vertical line while the US dollar sign had two This was one way I was able to tell which price the magazine cost

All I can say is this; In 1999, the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the US dollar was 75 to $1 Today at this moment, it is sadly $1 02 to $1 I sure wish I would have had the oppertunity to grab some Canadian cash back in the day! I sure hope it bounces back!!
