Looks like the XDM line has officially been discontinued and replaced with the Elite line to me So, HS Produkt developed, makes, and sells the XD (XD Mod 2), XDM, XDs, and Hellcat in Europe, which are imported by Springfield and distributed for sale in the USA

The current XDM Elite OSP includes a 5 25 inch threaded barrel from factory, the previous generation XDM OSP also included both the standard 4 5 inch barrel and 5 25 inch threaded barrel out of the box The barrels are compatible within the same caliber models, except to say throwing a smaller barrel into a larger slide model for obvious reasons
