An XFL would dominate a VVX in any category lol, you're comparing a 3" vc 1000 rms sub to a 2 5" vc 600 rms sub Both subs are good, but the XFL wins hands down And XFLs are definitely low end monsters, but thats more based on enclosure that the subwoofer

I personally would go XFL 3" coil, bigger motor, more Xmax and the new ones look pretty nice The DB look cheap and claim 1500rms on a 2 6" coil which I find hard to believe

I have about 3 cubic foot to work with If using two 10 inch subs On 3000w rms is there a better option for getting loud than the xfl 10 by American bass We are running two Dayton HO tens now 1500 watts , it sounds good Just wanting to try something a little different Also would like to

The XFL has a much stronger motor than the hds300 Overall build quality is better on the XFL Hence the higher cost You can throw 1500 rms on both all day long easy Thanks Jeff Both have 3 inch could do I was thinking Both could handle a lot more than rated But I too realized the motor was just a little stronger on the XFL

An XFL 10 would be Ideal for that enclosure, and do very well on that power all day long It should dig down deep and get nasty for you if you want and can do very well with lower listening volumes
