I decided to give it a try after watching this video of the guy using it with his HX Not sure how to describe it except when I turn it off I say to myself "hey, turn that back on" Even with it set to unity gain it sounds thicker somehow - a saturation boost I recommend giving it a try

Hi, I'm considering buying an Xotic XW-1 wah pedal Some reviews mention there is a brief period of silence when switching the wah on But most reviews don't talk about that and they are all super positive Is there any user of this pedal up here? Is it really an issue when playing live? Thanks!

The Xotic has a slight volume drop without the bump in input gain with my setup but I don't experience that at all with the Wahcko The deeper vowel frequency setting on the Xotic is pretty useless on guitar but I assume it's there for bass players The Xotic also seems to favor single coils ime
