I have always preferred Yaesu over Icom Dual RX will hopefully allow for duplex satellite work I have an IC-705, X6100, and an FT-817ND already but you can't have too many QRP rigs Hopefully it doesn't suffer from the horrendous LCD touch screen interference that the IC-705 does, when used with portable antennas in close proximity 73

Yaesu should have made it that one button is the universal "save changes" button, instead of making different menu items use different buttons to save the changes

Some of this may stem from the fact that the Yaesu radios are indeed made in Japan while the accessories for them are often made in China My FT-857D is made in Japan while the stock MH-31 microphone it came with is made in China as is a lot of other smaller items from Yaesu Does not make sense to me but it must to someone

hey all i have a couple of questions i have a chance to get a yaesu fl2100 b my question is this i know its designed to work with yaesu radios using the interconnect cables since i run a Kenwood TS-120S how can i make them mesh and work correctly ? is it worth my trouble or should i look at

And let Yaesu improve it New systems are fraught with errors FT-710 is a T-win A D converter and has excellent reception performance It also has a wonderful shield structure and is well protected against vibration I hope that the firmware upgrade will solve these problems FT-710 is just born, so let's keep an eye on its future growth
