- Red Lodge, Montana to Yellowstone via the Beartooth Highway
Yellowstone National Park (mile 69 - 98) The 29-mile drive from Yellowstone’s northeast entrance to Tower-Roosevelt makes its way through the scenic landscape of Lamar Valley Make the journey at dawn or dusk and it’s one of the best places in the park to spot wolves, bears and other predators; bison and elk can usually be seen at any time

- Driving to Mt. Rushmore from Salt Lake City - RoadTrip America
You know, I'd have to think long and hard before I went into Yellowstone on or near the 4th of July weekend, especially if I lived as close as SLC You can get there in a day and fall is a much better time to see the park Then the kids can see the geysers and animals and not just endless lines of traffic and crowds But I digress
- Wisconsin to Yellowstone and back in 7 days? - RoadTrip America
From Green Bay to Yellowstone, there are two nearly equal 'straight routes', I-90 through southern Minnesota and South Dakota, and I-94 through central Minnesota and North Dakota There is only a few miles difference between taking those two routes, so it's a perfect excuse to take one out and the other back
- Cleveland to Yellowstone - RoadTrip America
That gives us 6 days of driving, 1 day for Rushmore, and 4 days at Yellowstone But I could push it to 12 or 13 days if I needed to to get the most of the trip For example, looks like we could divide it into 3 days About 8 hours into Wisconsin, another 8 hours to Rushmore, then 8 more to Yellowstone
- Advice needed-Boston to Yellowstone-any reccomendations?
You might consider that route, or cut off at Sheridan and take Rte 14, The Greybull Highway, all the way to Yellowstone I-90 is kind of boring going up into Montana unless you want to visit the Little Bighorn Battlefield at Garryowen Since you have three weeks, consider going south to the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole after Yellowstone
