- Trying to figure out which Yihua hot air stations are legit good - Page 1
Is this Yihua brand of hot air rework stations any good? Or should I be looking for something else? I find it suspicious that different brands have similar model numbers, are these all bootlegs of some other known name brand and that is why they are cheap? If so, I wasn't able to find the original brand, I thought Yihua was the original brand

It is sold under many different names, including Yihua but I suspect they might just be all the same, just rebranded For the iron you might just be better off buying an original Hakko FX-888D

YiHua Soldering Station 939D+ - Page 1The tip fitted to the ceramic element Very loose, I wonder if Hakko ones is a perfect fit I am asuming as long as the tip insert hole has a good flat surface, it should perform I havent used it yet other than testing melting solder using different temp and test the tip temperature by a temp probe from a multimeter

My only other soldering station was an old-school Yihua and I gave it to a 17 years old, son of a friend, after getting the quicko I got my station a few years ago, so speaking from memory

- Deciding between Hakko FX-888D or YIHUA 862BD+ soldering stations - EEVblog
The Yihua station uses handpiece and tips that are basically cloned from the older Hakko 936 (and others of that time) soldering station The tips on Hakko 888 are a tiny bit different, I think a few mm longer, but they would probably work on Yihua station There's lots of tips on eBay for the Yihua, you can buy them in packs of 10 if you want
