This school in the River East School Division, in the North Kildonan area of Winnipeg, was designed by the architectural firm of Ward and Macdonald Built in 1969 at a cost of $1 8 million, the school was opened officially at a ceremony on 23 April 1970

Chief Peguis became a Middle School at the start of the 2014–15 school year and now has 457 students from grades six to eight Chief Peguis School underwent a large expansion in the 1990s, but you can’t see it from above ground!
