Hello all, I want to apologize for the thread in the blade forum, but I could not find an accessory specific section I've been keeping my blades in the original plastic boxes for a while now, but I was wondering if anyone is still making faithful reproductions of the original metal Gillette

I don't think it is a Clix, but it looks a lot like one of their models I suspect that there were a few Clix-clone makers back in the day, since there are several bakelite baseplate + metal cap razors that are very similar to Clix

Click to expand I have a Clix brand glass razor blade hone stropper It's from the 20's Picked it up on the bay for cheap Same concept of what you're doing with a water glass Works really well on modern and vintage DE blades I use it on my blade before each use

GAW9576 Walbusch B5 This is a curious Ever Ready I'm told by Tom White who I got it and the Walbusch from that this is indeed a stock top cap He said @RocketMan may be able to shed some light on it's history The Clix came from the Bay I just really liked the look of the handle and head design and it was a decent price
