I think I should note that I add my viewer to epdm in my All User Group so everyone uses eDrawings to view solidworks files In this viewer window in epdm, it does allow us to add multiple viewers so I added the different eDrawings paths

eDrawings has been my preferred step file viewer because it usually can open large files fast, has a good measurement tool, and of course is free I recently installed 2025 on a new machine but found it took 30+ seconds to open the program, before a model even began rendering Tried re-installing and also downgrading a few versions with no luck Even tried a few alternative programs but of

Hi, new to eDrawings but I couldn't find any help in the help sections of the app nor the website When I open a drawing and hit the Maximize square icon at the top right of the window, it maximizes bigger than my screen

I am consistent on how I do this but when my assemblies are saved to eDrawings format it will display some parts in the color I set but most show up in the standard color for the material which is usually a shade of grey for steel parts

When they open an assembly on eDrawings from Solidworks, they are unable to use the measurement tool on anything that has been saved as a Solidworks 2018 assembly

The only way to get a correct measurement in eDrawings is if I use Options>System Options> Base Scale> view scale Is this the best practice for exporting to a DXF? Anyone know what is going on? Why do none of my measurements work correctly in eDrawings, yet out of the 50 drawings I sent the supplier, only 1 part was incorrectly scaled?
