I spent over an hour and a half following all the "troubleshooting" steps on various "help" pages and scouring dozens of help support forums from everything Microsoft has to offer, to trying it on the chrome browser, back to explorer, checking for help from forums dedicated to each and all the steps the java site itself provided all to no avail
