Meater is the only one I know of that is 100% wireless If you just want remote montioring (wires from the base to the probes) I've had the Thermoworks Smoke, which is nice But I much prefer the equipment and app of the Fireboard It's wifi, not bluetooth, which greatly increases the range And the app is better (in my opinion) data wise

I just received my Block but it appears that I have some issues with the temperatures My current ambient temp is 30°C higher than what my iGrill 2 reports and from time to time even higher than what my dome thermometer in my WSM reports

Meater is trash I got one and it wouldn't even connect while my grill's lid was on Just totally lost connection immediately and required a complete reset every time I closed the grill lid If you look at reviews online and on Reddit, you'll see lots of the same connectivity problems

Meater block connects to probes just fine Connects to my phone app and WiFi But the app says there are no probes connected I am on an older firmware because I got this thing for my birthday almost a year ago But the design is so stupid there is no way to update firmware other than connecting to the app and the cloud
