Hey guys, I am wanting to get comprehensive car insurance I have previously been with RACV Third Party Comparing the prices of both i can get comprehensive insurance with Aami for about $650 compared to RACV which is over $900 I have never put in a claim in the past and so am not sure what else to be looking for when choosing insurance? I've been with AAMI for comprehensive car insurance for about 10 years and have 2 cars insured I just recently bought and new car and plan to sell one of the others so I now have 3 policies I was astounded to find out that their their (so called) "Safe Driver Rewards" program only applies to individual policies

Managed to lower the quote from Aami to 777$ (also covers rental car and windscreen replacement as additional benefits) by reducing grid value to 4400$ For $850 grid value is $5500 I'm hoping, there won't be any additional charges fees if I pay them annual amount of 777$ today and decide to move to 3rd party cover after lets say 5-6 months
