- PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition - questions - [H]ard|Forum
I'm sure it's a good PSU, but it's way too expensive Also if all you care about is silence, the Coolermaster X Silent Max Platinum 1300 is even quieter If you look at HW Busters reviews, the Coolermaster is fanless up to 1000W The TX-1600 Noctua Edition's fan is pretty much always on above 60W load, running between 400-800rpm below 1000W load
- Noctua NH-D15 RAM height for second fan? - [H]ard|Forum
So, I'm building a new PC and I didn't want to deal with water cooling, so I wound up getting a Noctua NH-D15 air cooler because it was said to be one of the best Supposedly these 125W CPUs run hot enough that my old standby, the Hyper 212 EVO, wouldn't be sufficient to cool it I haven't
- Which Static Pressure fans? Noctua NF A25x12, NF-F12, NF-F12 Industrial . . .
Noctua NF-F12 Industrial 2000 - 3 94 mm - H20 at 2000 rpm and just under 30 dB A Noctua NF-F12 Industrial 3000 - 7 63 mm - H20 at 3000 rpm and 43 5 dB A Thermatake Toughfan 12 - basically a clone of the Noctua NF-A12x25, stats on static pressure and noise are almost identical, also 2000 rpm
- Noctua NH-D15 chromax. Black - Fan Noise - [H]ard|Forum
Assuming you have that fan oriented correctly to pull so it matches the original intake fan direction that you didn't move, then it sounds like the body of the fan blade assembly isn't sitting deep enough below the frame, causing it to come in contact with the heatsink fins
- Battle of the air thermal siphon coolers ( Noctua NH-D15 vs. IceGiant . . .
Let me know the pros and cons on both parts please I am leaning towards the Noctua for clearance DB noise compared to the IceGiant Where a few reviews stated it had to be set on a higher fan curve compared to the NH-D15 But I do like IceGiants Thermal tech just the cooler is huge and will cover up a lot of the MOBO and RAM Thanks,
- Do I need to buy that Noctua AM5 bracket with the parts I have?
I currently have a Noctua NH-D15 cooling my oc 6700k I have had several noctua fans parts over the years, and I have built up quite a collection The problem is that it's all hodge podge Using only the parts in the picture (and whatever is currently being used by my d15), can I mount this to an AM5 board or do I need to go get that am5
- Noctua NF-F12 or BeQuiet Silentwings 3 - [H]ard|Forum
SW3 has very good numbers, particularly in linear airflow (FPM) through rad and in low RPM scaling I don't think I'll buy a Noctua again if I was buying today But yeah, I certainly wouldn't even touch an older fan like the F12 Now of course, the Noctua rep in February told me to expect a new 120mm in Q1 2018
- New Arctic P12 Max fan. 3 for price of 1 Noctua. No downsides?
Noctua's Redux fans are older designs which are strictly worse And they also usually limit their RPM These Arctics are not strictly worse Also, I'm no Noctua super supporter, as I don't think their bearing quality is very good Except possibly in their top 120mm fan tested in the video above But I have never owned one
