SOLVED in the Nvidia app the overlay would be on without playing a game (Click Alt + R if you see something similar but not exactly as this, it could be that for you, my problem was different but just letting you know) Like the title says, I have a thing at top right of screen saying my fps, gpu, cpu, and lat (?)

This is the metrics overlay Hotkey is Shift+CTRL+O Options for it are in Radeon Software>Performance>Metrics, right column, and the hotkey option is in the Radeon software settings (cog wheel icon) Should it continue to appear randomly then see if unbinding the hotkey stops it

Hey guys, I completed my first ever build a couple days ago and am totally new to PC gaming I've downloaded HWMonitor, and NZXT CAM software to monitor usage, temps, fan speeds, etc I'm wondering what the best software is to use to put an overlay on games to show CPU GPU speeds and temperatures while gaming I have the FPS overlay enabled in Origin Steam and that works fine I enabled the

Where as before it would just autodetect the game was running and toggle itself on and if you wanted to turn it off you'd have to do alt + z and go in overlay layout and turn off fps counter I think they tried to implement this to avoir that someone had to go in the settings to turn off the fps counter
