Ok so as a kid I had one of those cheap $30 laser pointers and I remember you could shine them pretty far I would say the length of 3-4 footballl fields maybe further, if it was pitch black out in the city At that range maybe a little further you could see a faint red dot on a building My

The laser turns on, but then slowly dims to nothing My first thought was the driver giving it too much current so i turned the potentiometer down, but this did not fix the short period of time it was on for Really just looking for any pointers as to what I could have done wrong

my green laser pointer (500mw) has now got a weird hazy blur around the point it is really annoying as i have tried cleaning the lens with cotton buds (q tips) and different cleaners but to no avail if you have any tips on how to get rid of this please help :(:thanks:
