Thanks for the detailed post Nothing there is going to harm Glock reliability It is, in my opinion, a shame that they didn't produce these immediately in an optics-ready platform I think that will hurt sales more than "V fear" I've seen guns that aren't optics ready sit and collect dust at several LGS while their optics ready counterparts move quickly
