Okay so this just happened to me and with some google searching and tinkering i figured out how to fix it, Uninstall vJoy using the same exe you installed with (if you dont have this anymore im sure theres other methods online) Press your windows key and r now type "devmgmt msc" this will open device manager, make sure nothing related to vJoy is there Press your windows key and r, and type

Remnants of vjoy were still on my pc In addition to uninstalling the vjoy drivers and reinstalling the xbox driver I had to go into "C:\Windows\System32\drivers" and uninstall "vjoy sys" by deleting its line of code After that, reconnecting my xbox controller re-installed the drivers and it's good to go again
