- Am I the only person who thinks W3schools isnt a great . . . - Reddit
The value of w3 isnt in its being the most accurate, or the most comprehensive, its that you get a broad overview of the content without being overwhelmed, in small chunks, mixed in with some examples, and some exercises To me that works for a beginner To me starting with MDN is a good way to scare off begineers, 100% accurate and exhaustive and gives a beginner the impression that he needs

I saw an answer from someone asking for the best resources for HTML and CSS and whoever is saying w3school was getting downvoted I want to know why? what is wrong with that? As a beginner learning HTML and CSS, This makes me wonder if I'm learning the wrong things or missing out on some important concepts by using w3schools
- Why not w3schools. com? - Meta Stack Overflow
I've used W3Schools a lot in the past too, but have had my Answers with links to there corrected to the relevant MDN pages by editors I do think if the same info is expressed as clearly on MDN it is a better link target, but when links are changed to a less easily understood reference page it can be a problem

- is w3schools a good place to learn c# : r learnprogramming - Reddit
w3schools is a great place to learn, but the learning experience is not a single thing Pull from many sources If you're confused on a topic, google the topic and take notes on the thing you're learning, and also how each source presents the same concept this is not dissimilar to learning anything

I've been studying Tableau (for data visualization and dashboards) and of course SQL I was wondering if getting an SQL certificate from W3school for around $90 is worth it? Would that help me at all with getting a job? Do hiring managers care at all? Thank you all so much for your time
