The alarm may self activate, you want to permamently DISABLE the alarm instead of attempting to fix the source of the problem? This works on 1993-1995 ZJ Grand Cherokee , 96 and newer ZJ's the alarm is part of the BCM, so this disable won't work It may or may not work on 1990-1995 XJ Cherokee
