  • Spark plug length - NastyZ28. com
serpent710 Veteran Member Jul 6, 2007 1,017 Fort Lauderdale, Florida Twisted_Metal said: I'm using ACCEL shorty plugs (576S) with a tapered seat ( 040 gap out of the package)
  • Any experience with Holley, Edelbrock or Accel fuel injection?
Does anyone have experience, recommendations or even rumors about the Holley, Edelbrock or Accel multi-point fuel injection systems? (Each is about $3000) As a computer electronics person (OK, nerd), these are very appealing to me and the installation, tuning and programming are the "fun" part
  • Correct Shorty Spark Plug?? | NastyZ28. com
My engine builder put Autolite AR3924 plugs in and said to get some shorty accel plugs in the same temperature range I have done quite a bit of research and cannot determine what the temp range is on these plugs in a way that I can identify a proper shorty plug The only plug summit sells
  • Ignition Failure, Engine doesnt want to start - Second Generation . . .
posted May 03, 2005 04:37 PM My mistake - its 1 6Ohm of course Accel writes that nominal resistance its about 1 4Ohm, so it seems to be OK Sorry for mistyped value
  • Vortec Cylinder Heads: The Definitive Guide - NastyZ28. com
Guys, Dave "Dirt" Reynolds has suggested that we devote some space on the message board to Vortec heads Cylinder heads are arguably the most important link in the "power chain", so it is certainly worth its own dedicated area for discussion
  • SBC headers for street car | Page 4 | NastyZ28. com
The Accel ones are the shortest but the NGK plugs are way cheaper and just a touch longer AC Delco are the worst for spark plug clearance with angle plug heads Those Doug's you have a just a copy of that generic style Cyclone used years ago and that style never cleared angle plugs to begin unless you smashed in tubes for clearance
  • Brake Foot | Page 3 | NastyZ28. com
By the middle 1960s, when power brakes were ordered (or standard equipment), the pedals got wider and more on the level of the accel pedal This better-facilitated right foot braking BUT with an un-occupied left foot, THAT foot could be used to brake with!
  • Which ignition wires?? | NastyZ28. com
i've run nothing but accel wires since the late 70's and right now running the accel 8 8's on my camaro
  • Ignition Systems - Second Generation Camaro Owners Group Message Board
posted February 07, 2005 05:48 PM For those who have them, what's the pro's or con's between MSD, Crane, Mallory, and Accel
  • Accel mechanical advance kit for HEI - Second Generation Camaro Owners . . .
posted February 24, 2005 08:10 AM I also have the Accel advance kit The chart they give you is done in distributor degrees You have to multiple the numbers by two to get the crankshaft degrees, so the kit should give you 24 degrees of advance However, I agree about the weights and use factory weights with aftermarket springs as well
