CVT fluid and filter change - Nissan Altima Forum I had a 2010 Altima that made it to 168k miles with frequent cvt fluid changes Had zero trans problems, and I'm convinced it was entirely because the fluid was changed! It was the 5th gen that didn't have an external filter The 6th does, and has a drain plug too! Do drain and fills every 30k miles! Should be good! My 17 has 68k miles
