Amsoil - Worth it? | BobIsTheOilGuy Amsoil, Shaeffers and T6 are all very capable fluids But, depending upon individual application of fluid and equipment, there may or may not be a clear "winner" above the others The real question is whether, in your specific situation, is a premium lube worth the additional cost, relative to the performance it can provide?
Should I use Amsoil Signature or Extended Life If I am buying Amsoil, I really don't see the point of buying anything other than their Signature Series Then again, I live in the US and there are plenty of quality oils available at Walmart for under $6 qt that are extremely comparable to Amsoil's Extended Life (and below) products

Contact Amsoil they will give you the correct answer I use Mobil 1 ATF in everything but the Dodge Well Amsoil recommends their Multi-Vehicle ATF for ATF+4 applications, and their Fuel-Efficient ATF for Toyota WS applications This doesn't stop others from debating the ATF+4 compatibility though
Mobil 1 0W20 VS Amsoil 0W-20 Signature Series Amsoil has 2 0W-20's that are API-certified, the 'XL' and 'OE' 0W-20 IF you want to go with Amsoil, maybe choose one of those I'm not an Amsoil user, but Amsoil fans seem to react pretty violently when the possible warranty implications of using Signature Series are brought up
