Fun use of Belm. : r BG3Builds - Reddit So Belm is a special very rare scimitar you can find in Jaheria’s house during act 3 It’s a weapon that like duelist prerogative (DP) lets you make a bonus action attack with it However, unlike DP, Belm lets you hold shield
Is the Belm Scimitar BiS for sword and board Paladin? that is actually brilliant! I was running belm on my dual wield bardadin with crimson mischief in main hand to make use of another bonus 7 piercing dmg from its passive Your idea seems to make my thief gloomstalker infinitely more useful! Thanks :D
Flail of Ages +5 and Crom Faeyr +5 vs Flail of Ages +5 and Belm +2 Belm adds an additional attack to the main-hand weapon Thus, after improved haste, a berserker 9 ~> mage 30 would be sitting pretty at 10 APR, 8 from Flail of Ages +5 (switch weapons, caste improved haste, then switch back to Flail of Ages +5) and 2 from Belm +2
Thematic Builds: Jaheira : r BG3Builds - Reddit Staff of the Ram (cast Shillelagh) or Belm (note that mainhand Belm would use your Strength or Dexterity to attack, instead of Wisdom) Off-Hand: Belm for bonus mainhand action attacks or Ketheric's Shield for spell support or any good defensive shield like Viconia's Walking Fortress or Shield Elixir Options: Peerless Focus unless handled by gear
[BG2] Dual-wielding Berserker build advice : r baldursgate - Reddit Belm, Kundane are the best for maximizing DPS; Crom (or Angurvadal) is an okay off-hand but usually better in the main hand, esp for Clerics (Clerics don't really prioritize Strength enhancing weapons because they already have no problems hitting 25 Strength)
Best scimitars : r BaldursGate3 - Reddit So, it allows you to copy whatever your mainhand damage is exactly, regardless of Belms damage range So for me, I was using Duellist prerogative and belm copied the damage exactly Duellist allows you to do an extra attack as a bonus action as well, but only if it is the only weapon you're holding ( offhand empty)
Any point in Belm for OH using GWW? : r baldursgate - Reddit From what I understand, Greater Whirlwind with Belm Offhand is actually worse than Greater Whirlwind with empty offhand Unless I'm mistaken, if you have an off hand weapon, greater whirlwhind will give you 10 attacks per round, of which 8 will be your main hand, and 2 will be your off hand
Best Weapon for Jaheira : r baldursgate - Reddit Blackblood +3 and Belm +2 off-hand shield before you get 2 point in two weapon style, then no change for the longest time until you can get Spectral Brand +5, still Belm in the off-hand Alternatively, spec into daggers and have her use Pixie Prick -> Firetooth +3 (switch to melee) for extra APR
Best one-handed weapons for Sword and Board Sorcadin Belm - Free bonus action attacks Ravenguards Longsword - +2 Char Voss' Silver Sword - free extra smite and high raw damage stats Devotee's Mace - high raw damage stats, cool healing power Handmaiden's Mace - lets you dump Strength and fully focus on Charisma
Is it worth using the duellists prerogative if I dual wield? I'm a dual wield ranger and I'm using Belm in offhand with the duelist Helps me keep the 1 ac from TWF feat and the extra BA from belm is giving me the same attack from the Duellist essentially I think you miss out on the reduced crit roll chance though But damage wise, I'm still crushing through them
